Anna Garson is the Director of the International Center. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Romance Languages from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s degree in International Higher Education & Intercultural Relations from Lesley University. Anna has been working in international education since 2011 in the U.S. and Spain, serving in a variety of roles including teaching, curriculum and program development, immigration, and the administration of inbound and outbound programs. Immediately prior to coming to Tufts, Anna served as Director of the Center for International Students & Scholars at Bentley University, overseeing all aspects F-1 and J-1 program administration and specializing in complex issues relating to U.S. work authorization. Anna is bilingual in English and Spanish and in her free time enjoys the outdoors, travel, trying new foods, learning languages, boxing, and dance.
