GIS at Tufts
GIS at Tufts is a vibrant, university-wide community and strategic resource dedicated to advancing geospatial education, research, and career pathways for all Tufts students, faculty, researchers, employees and alumni. Tufts University offers two graduate Geospatial certificates and approximately 28 geospatial courses annually across all schools, supporting an active and interdisciplinary network of nearly 1,000 GIS power users each year. GIS coordination and support services are provided through TTS Research Technology and the Data Labs, which serve as central hubs for geospatial innovation and collaboration at Tufts. As a unified institutional effort, these initiatives position Tufts as a leader in interdisciplinary geospatial scholarship and applied spatial research.
